In internet marketing that is called a "goldmine", it is your list.

A list of people who have bought from you, and if you know how to build a relationship with those people, they will buy from you, again and again, if you know what you are doing.

You just have to give them a reason to.

Some companies see thousands of new customers using this form of advertisement. But you have to know what to do with them once you have gotten them into your business.

Gone are the days that you can just send customers off and they will return. We have to work to earn people’s business more than ever before.

Not only are we working to combat competition in our own neighborhoods, we now have to battle competitors oversees. 

We are a global society and no matter what the statistics say about people doing business within a 5 mile radius, they forget to mention that your computer doesn’t even leave your home and that the mail man delivers.

Oh, and the fact that the internet is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365-6 days a year.

How can we as a business owner compete with that?

With all things being equal, we can compete on a personal level because that is the tie breaker when people chose where to shop and dine.

Because whether you like it or not, if you own a business, you are in effect a global establishment. And to compete on a global scale you have to understand people’s psychological needs as well as their buying habits. 

And psychologically speaking, people do business with those that they know, like, and trust.
